This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Now accepting commissions. Anyone interested in obtaining my services as an illustrator, concept artist or paint monkey is more than welcome to drop me a note.
All is practice when compared to yours Sensei Darensbourg. I love your fusion of fun, abstracted, curvilinear, elements fused with the slight macabre. Your use of color and visual elements are astounding.
So yeah, I checked out Hi-Fructose Magazine and it's pretty bad ass. I like that it deals with more illustration and painting than Juxtapoz does. It seems like Juxtapoz has too much in the way of weirder esoteric stuff that I'm just not into. I like a mag that covers anything from comics to modern illustration to old school painters once in a while.
Yeah I totally agree. I tried to get into Juxtapoz but some of the art in there just isn't what I'm into enough to make the purchase valid. I am really enjoying the art of Nicola Verlato from issue # 11. Here's a link to his website [link] I think you might enjoy the way he conceptualizes his work. I guess he puts together a model using maya, photoshop and some photography and then creates a drawing from that, and then paints on canvas or wood using oils. His attention to detail is stammering.
