This would be my second attempt at coloring in PSCS2 and after taking an extended vacation from drawing(almost 2 years, god am I a slacker). This piece was commissioned for a project a friend and I are pursuing. In the end I am not so happy with the line art or coloring, but done is beautiful and sometimes you just have to let go before you stuck on the hamster wheel. ;p I used a rapidograph drafting pen on standard 8 1/2 x 11 copy paper, scanned and than did some corrections in PSCS2 using a very small Wacom tablet. This BloodElf Mage from WoW is wearing T5 Raid Gear.

Thank you very much. I was not completely happy with it (as so many of us artists tend to feel about our own works) but happy to be done with it. :) I am supposed to do a series of WoW artwork for a project my colleague is requesting. If time allows for this project, I will update my page accordingly. I should have some more work to post from other such projects soon. I too love the elves... dark, high, wood, moon, night, blood, etc... Danger combined with elegance is very enticing.

I'm glad you like it. It had been a long time since I picked up a pencil to do a piece so complete and doing so while teaching myself photoshop made it a longer project than usual.
