So this was a project that I had been slaving over with a colleague of mine in an attempt to establish a project for Sony's Gods & Heroes and happens to be my second project using PSCS2. After many renditions and attempts to make Medusa seductive and perhaps slightly attractive... I settled for what you see here. If any of you had a chance to see the in game model of this character.. you might see how difficult it was to make her feminine and still retain the original design elements. After all was said and done, the project and game was shelved and ol' pineapple cans here never went past first submission. Alas, I digress... it was fun to play with the colors and still keep a small pallette of colors. Enjoy..
I was at Sony's panel at comic con 2006 and they had a women in there booth that was dressed just like this....... I think she was your character??? Thats a very cool consept.........
I wish I could have seen her. I took the original design which were published on the "gods and Heroes" website and tried to make it a little more dynamic and flashy enough for a t-shirt design and before we were able to get any sort of final say on it... Sony shelved the project. It was fun to do nonetheless. Thanks for checkin my work out.
You know what Clute, I think I have a picture of it somewhere on my computer? Hey that would be an awesome t shirt. I know a few people who love gorgons like Medusa.........Yeah no problem, your art is amazing, and if I find the picture I will post it in my gallery and let you know...........It was a pretty interesting costume!!
This is really nice. Not so sure about the belt and lack of nipples (I know she's part reptile, but nipple-less boobs disturb me), but I like the clear drawing style and the different way you did her stomach.
Maybe you should do more classic monster girls? There are a lot to choose from!
Thank you for checking out this piece HareTrinity. I didn't have much room to change the design since this one was for a MMORPG video game that was never released. Gods and Heroes. It took me a while to play around with the composition so that I kept the original design concept while making it exciting enough to wear on a t-shirt. Here is a link to the images I had available [link]opup=1. I may take you up on your request and perhaps do a small series of classic monsters.
